I haven‘t posted in a while because of all the negativity about the football program and especially the coaching. And frankly there is one poster who has been on a continuous mission to bully other posters to his or her viewpoint against Campbell over and over again. But let’s look at some perspective. Campbell has made Iowa State relevant in football. He is a class act and the players love him. He is putting players in the NFL, a rarity for Iowa State. And he has been offered a myriad of other jobs by people a hell of a lot smarter than any of us. As for his record, take a look

It would probably be a ton of work, but I would be interested knowing who are the ISU recruiting targets over the last 3-4 cycles that chose to go elsewhere, and are now experiencing the coaching staff shuffle. It would be interesting to learn how many of them would take another look at being Cyclones via the portal.

Other than about 6-7 key spots (sarcasm), was the innuendo that there were issues with the team this year from a cultural standpoint. Nothing specific was ever mentioned but I saw it mentioned a couple times this fall in posts on this board.

Now, losing the way we did could cause this and it could be nothing. Or, are we not getting the buy in we had earlier in Matt’s regime? I hope it’s nothing but trouble from within is not good.
