The DEI Boss of the Secret service (a woman) was interviewed a long time ago and her focus was to make the SS diverse, not the best it can be. She was focused on getting 30% of the women into the SS. Well video is showing they did not do great in this assassination, showed one woman who could not holster her gun. But that is not the real problem with having women SS officers. I could see them guarding the VP, a women who has a similar stature. You have to remember the #1 responsibility of the SS agent is to become a human shield for the person they are guarding. So how is a woman that is probably 5'5" to 5'7" going to become a human shield for Trump, a man that is 6'3" tall. It looks really bad on the video, the women are almost a foot shorter than Trump. This would leave his whole head exposed when they were moving him. Thank god the men were closest to him. I would have the same problem if short men were guarding Trump. THese women have their place, but I am not thinking it is guarding someone that is close to a foot taller then them.

Also, how is it that in a place where they are almost no buildings around, did they leave the roof of the closest building without an officer? One guy last night says he has seen cases where there was a parking ramp nearby, and they had an officer on every floor, but suddenly they don't? Something is starting to smell really rotten about the SS.

And they also found today, a Black Rock commercial from 2023, and guess who was front and center in a classroom where the video was filmed, the freaking shooter. Not going to say Black Rock had anything to do with this (although they are pretty liberal), but geese, talk about ammo for conspiracies.

I just remembered we no longer have Randy Peterson to kick around anymore. Has the Rag assigned us a full-time beat writer? Someone pissed they aren't going to cover the Squawks?

All the excitement over this upcoming season has got me believing. BUT, when I reviewed the Liberty Bowl game this past weekend I felt a little anxiety. How did we have so many serious breakdowns in the secondary? Didn't we have a solid secondary last year? You would never know it from the Memphis game. TJ is gone and we will have some new faces. Will we be improved in the secondary?

Was pulling for Zander. He's probably my favorite now joining Arnie, Weiskopf, Watson and Woods. Have come to really like Rory also. Zander has the game and the nerves for Majors.

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis program signed five players set to arrive this fall as it revamps its roster. The group has been ranked the No. 20 class nationally by Tennis Recruiting Network.

It also ranks as the second-best class in the Big 12 Conference, trailing only UCF (No. 2).

Iowa State’s five player class includes: Julia Camblor (Gijon, Spain), Gabriela Da Silva (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Suzanie Pretorius (Potchefstroom, South Africa), Cristina Ramos Sierra (Madrid, Spain) and Mari Paz Alberto Vilar (Alcala De Henares, Spain).

Not totally unexpected. What happens next could be bigger news.

Has Sirius canceled the Big 12 (Ch 374)? Still get $EC, Big Ten, and ACC channels.

Just saw an ESPN (Bristol garbage) list of the anticipated top 25 FB teams and their prospects. I've rarely felt EIU was very good and simply benefits from a weak schedule and the reluctance of the big media to disrespect B!G (shocker, I know.) So here we are again - we are nowhere to be seen and EIU is #23. WTF? So - at some point self examination happens. Am I crazy and YES EIU is good year in and year out OR are they (ESPN) pukes who pander to B1G money and eyeballs? Or both? I fear it might be both. Or who cares?

Over the top. It was like a left-wing parody of a Trump rally.

In my opinion.

Some blogs out there indicating that Big 12 is talking with FSU and Clemson via third party. Possibly 6 teams from ACC could be joining the league, and this may include FSU/Clemson/Miami and 3 others. They make it sound like Big 10 is sticking to their AAU requirement, and supposedly the SEC is not interested in expansion, and SEC already has Florida covered anyway. Not sure what to make of these rumors.

Talk about what a difference a year makes. Iowa State is in much better shape going into 2024 than it was in 2023. The offensive staff knows exactly what it has with Rocco Becht returning as the incumbent and JJ Kohl and Tanner Hughes back as reserves.

odds of Biden dropping out are at 25% and growing.

I look for Kamala to be the replacement, and they know she will get slaughtered (which the dems actually want). They want her gone from politics. Poll in Virginia shows a tie for crying out loud! Biden won that state by 500K votes last time. If Virginia is truly in play, The POTUS will be over by midnight on election night. The Dems have no path without VA.

And the gender gap is huge. But not how you think, everyone thinks it is Trump with the gender gap, down among women by 9 points. The real gender gap is Biden is losing among men by almost 20 points. That should tell you something, men pretty much hate Biden. The people that think logically are voting for Trump, the people that think emotionally are voting for Biden.
