So we were in Tulum Mx a few days ago exploring the Mayan ruins and I ran across this in a gift shop. Actually the gift shop huckster chased me down after seeing my hat. I think Bronco Mendenhall will get UNM rolling eventually. The UNM job is a worse job than the ISU job was in 1994.

This thing hasn’t even started and here are some things I’ve seen today:

- PP has set up trailers giving free vasectomies and abortions. Why are they obsessed with abortions?
- Dems are dressed up as abortion pills marching outside. Totally normal.
- They built a wall to keep pro Palestine supporters and rioters out, and have imported police from other cities to help. I thought walls were racist and they wanted to defund the police?
- Oh, and you have to show an ID to get in, but not to vote. They are apparently pro ID, pro wall, and pro police now, if it protects them.
- The pro Hamas Dems, of which there are many, are marching with a huge sign that says Killer Kamala.
- Local businesses are boarding up, planning on there being riots and looters. Don’t remember this happening In Milwaukee?
- Today Kamala tried to be normal in a photo op and needed help in a gas station (twice) finding a bag of Doritos.
- She also told a high school football team they will be undefeated even if they don’t win every game. As football coach Tim Walz cowered in the corner nodding.
- Most of the Dems outside are wearing masks, in August of 2024.

But remember, JD Vance is weird. We can probably add to this list numerous times each night.

Past and current CycloneReport publishers gathered for the marriage of my son. Paul and Bill were a bit slow though on Cyclone news. Had they been to the venue a day earlier, they could have covered the marriage of Kyle Kempt. Herdcyclones does not appear in this picture however. I should have!

But I look like Rich Rodriquez, so imagine him in this picture.

Youngest wanted to go to the game Saturday and take a friend. Not much action here so I clicked on Bill's Tickets icon above which took me to Seat Geek. Lot of tickets available. Got 3 in Section 31 Row 5 for $65 each plus fees which came to $275. Pretty nice seats I thought.

Library of Congress - Sanborn Fire Maps

I stumble on this during COVID researching my hometown.
As Wikipedia states, "the maps were created to allow fire insurance companies to assess their total liability in urbanized areas of the United States."
Imagine a hand drawn "Google Map" of the downtown area showing business type, building construction, etc.
It's interesting to compare maps over time as the downtown changes, usually because of fire, especially in the late 1800's/early1900's.
If your local library has digital access to historical local newspapers, you'll likely be able to determine why a half block of buildings disappeared from one year's maps to to the next version.
My hometown had maps in the years: 1897, 1900, 1907, 1913, 1920.

Iowa state got some good messaging as the announcer bragged up Sama stating that Sanders left when he took over.
