Lunardi's Bracketology is out.

How Lunardi places us as a #4 versus #5 Miami in Orlando makes no sense. Should be in Des Moines with KU as a #3. :)

Although, they have 9 teams in from the Big XII, I can't see how the hell he has 9 teams in from the Little X.

Bracket Matrix has us on the #4 line as well.

Bracketville has us as a #3 in Denver.

FCS Championship game

Just watching the recording. What a great atmosphere.

Toyota stadium, Frisco TX. 20,000 and there were 10,000 in blue and 10 000 in green/yellow. Loud and crazy.

So happy for sdsu and coach Stegelmier to get a championship. They won the game because their OLine was flawless. Their QB was clean, with time, the whole game.

Do we play them anytime soon?

Max Duggan -- Talking Heads

Was listening to "Off Campus" a little while ago. They had Neuhisal on today. They were talking TCU and spoke a lot about Dugan. Neuhisal opined about Nebraksa missing on him due to proximity. He and others also mentioned the squawks missing on him. Am I not remembering correctly? I thought he would've likely come to the Cyclones except for Purdy. Makes me sick these guys spew crap. Why would he go to the fuskers given their state of affairs back then? And the squawks??? They did bust some hok balls INRE QB play, which was nice. BUT, no mention of ISU! Makes me want to puke. Am I mis-rembering?

Kayden Fish in Bass Pro TOC this week

Missouri Class 5 #1 Staley, led by ISU recruit Kayden Fish, will be playing in the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions in Springfield starting this Thursday. Other Missouri schools include Link Academy, Omaha Billiew’s school last year, and Kickapoo, Heather Ezell’s alma mater. Christ the King is among the 5 national teams also playing. They feature Carmelo Anthony’s son. Here’s a link:

Early....but a nice trend

Rebounding margin can be a misleading stat if viewed in a vacuum, but I think it can be a fairly important one. Otz's foundation is defense and the defensive posssession isn't over until you've secured the ball. Watching ISU get pounded on the boards the last several years drove me nuts and I always thought it a symptom of a weak team. It's early in the conference season, but here is how the rebounding margin stacked up for the Cyclones.
2022-23 4th +.7
2021-22 9th -4.7
2020--21 10th -7.7
2019-20 9th -1.5
2018-19 9th -3.4

***The Official Cyclone Report National Title Game Thread***

As B12 mates, do we want TCU to win tonight? Personally, I want them to win but Tech fans are praying that the frogs get their asses kicked. They are worried that a frog win could be the beginning of domination by TCU due to controlling the recruiting scene in DFW. The metroplex is big for Tech recruiting and their largest alumni base is here. Let me know what you folks think.

Elon Musk...screaming for help. LoL

He extremely overpaid for twitter and got forced to follow up on his mouth.

Has leveraged himself to billions in interest on his debt and is now scrambling to find ways to actually make money on Twitter which has lost money the last 2 years.

Now advertisers are pulling back. Uh oh.. .

When that big right wing mouth gets caught by the courts and stuck with a major loss. Too funny

How is this NCAA coach still employed?

Can you imagine if a coach berated a player for kneeling back in 2021?

I'm still disgusted by all this crap.

Our son is an assistant varsity coach at a school with primarily black students on the team. Every game during the national anthem, there's a core of people that don't stand.

I'm so damn tempted to go over and chew their asses out, but for the sake of our son, I don't.

Shameful.

Jerry Carino's AP Ballot for USA Today

He has us at 12 and has a nice write up.

Analysis: It’s a close call for No. 1 between Kansas, Houston and Purdue. Truth is, there is no clear No. 1 right now. Kansas gets the nod because of six Quad 1 victories, most of the group. Purdue takes a slight back seat to Houston after suffering a home loss (Houston’s lone loss is to Alabama on a neutral). We’re splitting hairs here but that’s what you have to do…Xavier is a big winner, rising seven spots after winning at Villanova, and the Big East is a big winner in general this week, with a season-high four squads projected to make the poll…Iowa State is another big winner, leaping 13 spots after wins over Oklahoma State and TCU in a loaded Big 12.

By conference: Big 12 (5), SEC (5), Big East (4), Big Ten (3), ACC (2), Pac-12 (2), American (1), Colonial (1), Mountain West (1), West Coast (1).
