Must win?

Is Tuesdays game vs K-State now a must win? A loss puts us 2 games behind them and we still have to play them in Manhatten. Blowing a huge lead yesterday hurts, cannot afford any home losses. Jerry Palm now has K-State as a 1 seed in DSM. Tough game but its now a must win to keep conference title hopes and a couple first round games in DSM alive.

ISU at #10 in the ESPN Power Rankings Too - Palm Bracketology has us a #4

Six of the 15 Teams are from the Big XII.

And we actually moved up a spot after losing 2 of 3.

Palm just released his bracketology - We are down to a #4 with KU, KSU, Tejas, and TCU all ahead of us.

Brock owns Texas

From Iowa State Cyclones Football Alliance page on Facebook:
Living smack in the middle of Texas here after the Dallas Cowboys loss tonight, from my FB friends' feeds it would seem the Lone Star State is about ready to declare war on Brock Purdy starting next season 😉 Got me thinking to throw together some napkin math beginning with his results as starter against all four TX schools from 2018-2021 and those win margins for some extra burn:
Texas: 3-1 (+14 pts)
Baylor: 2-2 (+17 pts)
TX Tech: 3-1 (+32 pts)
TCU: 3-0 (+62 pts; Noland still QB'd @TCU in early 2018)
Dallas: 1-0 (+7 pts)
Total career margin: +132 pts over TX programs with +47 of those his senior year alone against Texas and TCU.
Ironic that TCU ends up in the nat'l championship the very year after Brock's final 48-14 blowout as part of his 62 pt career margin over them alone. The two Baylor losses totaled just -4 pts (and two of the Horns wins were also close by just +5). He could've also completely swept Taco Tech if it wasn't for a 62-yd FG finale.
