I will admit I have been kind of absent with recruiting. I some how stumbled upon 24/7 sports page and it showed Iowa has commitments from 2-8 in rankings in Iowa. Is that $$$$ or the last couple years of below average football? It's like ISU isn't located in Iowa when you look at commitments from the state of Iowa.

Monty Show to day is showing pictures of a "assistant" coach for Central Michigan that is a dead ringer for the Michigan "assistant coach that is being investigated for sign stealing. This would mean that Michigan is embedding a coach at Central Michigan to scout other teams(MSU) for Michigan. Literally they are getting another program involved to help steal signals for future Michigan opponents. The Guy is in full blown Central Michigan gear, but dammed, he looks like the same guy that is on the Michigan staff. This is bizarre, is Michigan paying another program to HELP them cheat?

Does anyone know anything about the trick or treating at RV Village that Blum and Williams mentioned? We’re bringing a grandson and want to be prepared.

Also, considering dry camping considering the weather and the fact we’ve winterized the camper. There‘s a porta-potty right outside our door and could use disposable everything. It’s not expensive or difficult to re-winterize, so I’ll likely put water back in it those couple of days. We leave the camper in Ames at a friend’s during the season, but thinking of hauling it home and covering it for the winter after KU. We have some friends to stay with for Texas and that sounds better than camping in 30 degree weather.

My Northwest Iowa Facebook feed popped up 2 photos of Freerents Senior and Lavar Woods at games in Sioux Center and Rock RapidscFriday night. They were posing with a Sioux Center woman and Rock Rapids man.

Did our coaches get around during our bye week? I never see this type of pub for Iowa State.

Jumping on the post about CyTown, I have heard Mullet's is opening a place in Ames. If you don't know, it is a bar and grill in Des Moines along the bike path.
Heard it was taking over a current location, but that would be cool in CyTown.

I'm back in central Iowa for the weekend, and I saw that there is a home VB game on Sunday. Figured it would be a good time to get mom out of the apartment, since she seems to have recovered well from her Labor Day weekend heart attack. Anyone going? I just got tickets in 111, Row 14. I think I got everything set up on my phone...I hope!
