I don't think it can be understated as to what a phenomenal play call that was.
I thought besides that, he was relatively poor for a lot of the game. Especially down near the goal line earlier, we were incredibly unorganized and running very poor plays.
But I have rewatched that play. It's 3rd and short. Everybody knows that Hanson should be our go-to guy in third and short. We know it. Utah knows it. Everybody in the stadium knows it.
When Rocco pitched the ball to Hansen , all 11 guys on the Utah defense collapsed in on the line of scrimmage trying to make the stop. No one saw the pass coming.
I thought that Mouser struggled in many other parts of this game, but that was just a phenomenal call. Giving him massive props for that.
