Folks,
I work for Taxa Outdoors which is an unique camping trailer manufacturer. We have a one of a kind tailgate edition trailer that was designed specifically for setup at events. I was thinking this might be a great opportunity for a Clone fan since it is in all the right colors. If a rooftop tent is added, it becomes a full fledge camping trailer as well. According to the NCAA sports contract concerning amateurism, an athlete is considered a professional if they are paid in any form or accept the promise of pay for using your athletic abilities in any type of sports contest. So are the student athletes considered professionals since they are being paid ? and if not, why can't the universities pick up NFL and USFL players who still have eligibility left in college . my thoughts are, can we go after a Mike Rose or Hakeem Butler since they left early? spit balling and just thinking outside the box.

We are getting CMC and a select few players for about 45 minutes mid-day. I'll share some highlights from CMC's time with the media in the thread below.

I didn't realize bowl teams were losing so many starting players to the Portal or Opt Outs.

Not sure I am betting these, but even the Oklahoma situation is unbelievable. Would suck being a fan and not having your starting QB play in the Bowl.

It's absolutely crazy that this is happening.

Has anyone been tracking Memphis and their Portal/Opt Out situation?

I know we have been tracking ours and most of our starters seem to be playing in this game.

Anyone else get a gift from We Will in the mail? It's a medallion shaped like the state of Iowa with WW embossed on it. To me, that's a waste of money. I would prefer to have my contribution go toward what it was meant to go toward, not some meaningless gift. I didn't donate to be recognized, I donated to help out. Maybe I'm off base here, but it seems like a misuse of the funds to me.

Metronet is coming to our area and I'm thinking about making the switch from Mediacom.

Anyone have any experience with Metronet, pro or con?
