35% of the university makes the Dean's List? That seems like a big number to me. I would like to see what the % was back in the prehistoric age when I went to school there. I'm pretty sure it was a lot lower than that by a long ways. Is school easier now or are kids smarter?

Just a thought, would be interesting to get your counterparts at Rivals to comment (ISU's football opponents next year) on what they think their seasons will look like, who they have coming back, predictions, etc.

Sort of what you already do. Maybe one a week to pass the winter? Again, just a thought.

Pretty Funny. On the Noon program Dana Perino & Bill Hemmer. They were clearly set to do a promo for the GREAT CC. Instead they showed a clip of ISU WBB & their GREAT win over Baylor!! She quickly figured out they were supposed to promote the GREAT ONE(CC) and showed the Hawks win over IN & the whole cereal Box/CC PROMO. Awesome that ISU WBB took the main spotlight first!!!!

Started good, up 10-5, then fell apart. Baylor 19-1 run (including a 3 at the buzzer where gal traveled!) to end 1st quarter.

Just coming out of a weekend bout with what I believe was Norovirus. Wife's son & DIL's fam had it & we watched granddaughter Fri (just before onset). Any anyone else experienced the joy?

Since I didn't want to walk the frigid Hilton parking lot Saturday night for the 7:15 men's game, I finally caved and bought the ESPN PLUS subscription. I've held out because I'm rarely home to watch games on TV anyway.

Anyway, the purchase and signup was quick and easy...after I figured out after a bunch of tries that for the expiration of my credit card they wanted 082024 instead of just 0824. Tell me these things, tech people!

But the game played beautifully on my laptop from my recliner without a single moment of buffering. The picture quality was outstanding. We've had Metronet internet service in Ames now for 3 years and I love its speed and dependability.

They put a good portion of the student secton right behind the visiting team, and I mean they are close. Row 1. I'm sure that's going to go well.

Thoroughly impressed with the fact that BYU is new to the Big 12 and going around doing stories about kids from other schools.

And obviously I'm humbled and proud they chose the CEO to do a podcast with for their "Big Story."

Here is Cedar Rapids, the Sun dog is a complete rainbow circle around the sun and takes up half the sky. Just absolutely amazing. Usually it is just a couple spots on either side of the sun.

Way to go WVU. The UT coach has a strange resemblance to Gus Fringe. 😂😂😂😂
