Iowa State will play its first-ever football game outside of the United States when it opens the 2025 season against Kansas State in the Aer LingusCollege Football Classic, August 23, 2025, at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

"We are extremely grateful for this opportunity presented to us by Aer Lingus to provide the young men in our football program an unrivaled educational, cultural and athletic experience," said Jamie Pollard, Iowa State's Director of Athletics. "Iowa State fans enjoy a tremendous reputation for following the Cyclones wherever they play, and we look forward to seeing them travel with us to The Emerald Isle for the 2025 season-opener."

Cyclone fans may choose between travel packages and hospitality packages which both include game tickets in Iowa State sections. All-inclusive travel packages include premium game tickets (in-stadium hospitality available as an optional upgrade), luxury hotel accommodations, exclusive Iowa State Welcome Experience and more. Or select a game day hospitality package that includes premium in-stadium hospitality with food and drinks and premium game tickets.

"We are thrilled to see Iowa State and Kansas State participating in the 2025 Aer Lingus College Football Classic," Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark said. "We look forward to watching two Big 12 brands compete in Dublin on a global stage. The international exposure and cultural experience will greatly benefit our student-athletes, institutions and conference as a whole.

More information on flights will be available 10 months prior to the game and a menu of unique travel experiences will be unveiled this fall, which can easily be added to any travel package. Separate emails will be sent to you as flight and travel experience information becomes available.

Remaining game tickets will go on sale early 2025 for fans only interested in purchasing standalone tickets to the game.

And yes, even more then the usual horse race polling...job approval at this point in a term IS predictive of upcoming elections at the national level. Generally, 44-46% is considered a "high danger" approval range for incumbents. Below that tends to be catastrophic.
