I sure hope not

I see Bowen Born is in the portal from UNI. Does he end up at ISU like his father if we don't take 2 biggies from this weekend? Not sure where else he would play unless it was Drake - which it could be.

If we land one big, do we take a chance on our 13th spot with a solid guard that has a bunch of connections here?

Seems hard to believe this series hasn't been discussed here, but I searched and didn't find a thread about it.

Series is pretty old. I'm watching it for the second time. Pirate stuff. Nudity, sex, gore, all kinds of swash being buckled. It's sort of a prequel to "Treasure Island," with a lot of the same characters, interacting with pirates who actually were around.

I've settled in at Jack Trice Stadium and will be posting periodic updates in the thread below.

My oldest can't imagine a world of commercials. I have to admit they seem to be much more painful (and longer breaks) than it used to.

To Iran as it appears they are ramping up to invade Israel. That worked so well when he told Putin the same about invading Ukraine.

First, I don't believe any offensive starters played. Maybe on the offensive line but nowhere else. That being said, outside of a couple of runs by Dylan Lee the offense was horrible. We have no depth on offense.

We have seen this many Springs. Very poor offensive line play, receivers who cannot get any separation, QBs indecisive. I am Charlie Brown. ISU Football is Lucy. And once again the ball has been picked up. When will I learn?

And a big FU to Pollard and/or Campbell. The 11:00 a.m. start was earlier. I was back to my car by 12 noon and had seen the whole scrimmage, or at least what I hadn't missed by being on time.

And my goodness, these new slots in the parking lot are narrow. Going to be a lot of door dings.

For those who care, the defense won 31-3 in some type of scoring matrix.

I think people who believe CC is changing the face of WBB are going to be disappointed in the long run. Nothing could convince me to turn on a WNBA game. I feel sorry for CC, she is the great white hope of the WNBA, and they hate her for being so. She has a huge target on her back.

Man I hate to see them go.

Anthony Smith was a late Iowa State signee to the 2020 class and never quite found his footing in Ames. Started off on the offensive line, moved to the defensive line, then back to the offensive line last season. Transferring out is a move that moves sense.
