It's Big 12 Championship Game week, so let's get rolling with those predictions for the game against the Sun Devils at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

1) Winner & margin of victory. (ex: Iowa State by six)
2) Total points scored. (ex: 52 points)
3) TIEBREAKER: How many passing yards will Iowa State finish with?

Number one will be the first determiner and then I'll take whoever gets closest to the total points. If needed, I'll go to the passing yards prediction to break a tie.

Contest winners will be rewarded as follows: first place (three free months added to your subscription); second place (two free months); third place (one free month).

Iowa State is currently a 2.5-point underdog and the over/under is 51 points.

Not that I didn't think this before, but after reading this story man how does this team only have one all big 12 player? And it's not even at the main position he played. IMHO I always have felt that Noel was ok and serviceable at being a returner.

Boise State tries to punch their way into the top 4 and a bye in the CFP against UNLV.

Everything has rolled the Cyclones way these last few weeks. Teams needing to lose did so and allowed us to get into the conference championship game. A loss by Boise would be one more thing that would improve the Big 12's placement in the CFP. If we don't win tomorrow, I'd still like to see ASU get that 4th slot.

Former Kansas State assistant, and former UTEP HC, Dana Dimel, passed away in his sleep yesterday.
I mention this as current ISU assistant Jake Waters worked under him at UTEP for a couple seasons.

Casually looking at the football portal and noticed Kentucky has 14 players in the portal already. One is their allSEC wide receiver......

The three were together on the Washington State roster for the 2020-21 season:

There are three 2026 recruits in Iowa that are 6-10 or taller, including 6-11 Cael LaFrentz from Decorah, which makes me wonder if he's Raef's son? I see from trusty Google that Raef also lives in Decorah now.

The other two players are 6-10 Jaxon Clark from Keokuk and 6-10 Sam Mbingazo from Iowa City. Neither Lafrentz, nor Clark has any offers yet, although Iowa is sniffing around Lafrentz, but Mbingazo has offers from West Virginia and Arizona State.

Assuming that ISU is a 1 or 2 seed, would ISU fans prefer Wichita or Milwaukee? Surprisingly, Milwaukee is much closer to Ames. Obviously KU wants Wichita. Seems to me that ISU and KU, whom normally are competing for the same site, will be possibly wanting to go to different sites this year.
