One Disappointment

Just rewatched the KSU game. The only thing I was disappointed in was the conservative approach we took after the Vaughn interception. A score ices the game. I would have preferred not having to knock a pass down in the endzone to preserve the victory. [Old man heart thing.]

We had legitimate shots at 4 more interceptions. Cooper is a beast and get Bacon some bacon (scholarship).

Matt Blair

I took my 28 year old daughter to the Minnesota Vikings Museum today and there was nothing in the whole place that mentioned that Matt Blair eveer played for the Vikings. I asked every employee in the museum and no one could even give me an answer, even though I told them that Matt was one of the best Vikings ever, if not the best. There has to be a story behind this. Did he never play football or is my dementia getting worse? I could have sworn I watched him play for Iowa State. Does he exist?

Kansas State

I've been watching some videos of Kansas State post game reactions and interviews and one thing that kept popping up surprised me a little. Almost without exception, every K-State player, analyst, fan, coach, mentioned the rivalry, like it was a big deal to them to beat us because we are a rival. In fact, one analyst said KSU's two biggest rivals are KU and Iowa State.

My question is do Iowa State fans think of KSU the same way -- as a huge rival? Personally, I think of KSU as a conference rival and nothing more than that. If I were to pick a second team as a big rival after Iowa, it would probably be Nebraska, not KSU. Third on the list would be Kansas because of basketball more than anything. Am I off base here?
