Cunningham announced on X (formerly Twitter) this morning that he intends to enter the transfer portal on April 16th.

My initial way too early thoughts:
*Lofty ranking for Clones at #2. Perhaps if we land Hadley and Kyle ( or equivalent talent), then, yes, top 10.

*Kentucky at #4?? No way if Calipari remains their coach.

*Ranking for other Big 12 teams (Houston, Kansas and Arizona) are way too low.

until rosters are settled post portal.

Since the other threads seemed to have died (i.e. libs couldn't defend what they were arguing), let's see what's happened the last couple days:

- Biden has called for a cease fire from Israel, and withholding weapons from them, as Palestine/Hamas is still holding American hostages. Of course this is based on polls, and to appease the squad, far left wingers in Michigan, and idiot college protestors that say they may not vote for him.
- Blinken said he's for Ukraine joining NATO, which many think would cause WW3 with Russia. How could it not?
- John Kirby says they don't support an independent Taiwan, bending the knee to China again.

Libs, please tell me which of these you support. This should be good.

I thought maybe we could look at the MBB Roster as it is being Constructed. Much of this is guess work as there are still up to 3 positions to fill.

PG(1) - Lipsey, Gilbert, Jones
Wing/Shooting Guard(2/3) - Gilbert, Jones, Heise, Indrusaitus, Pierce
SF/PF(3/4) - Heise, Momcilovic, Watson
PF/P(4/5) - Jackson, Rock, Chatfield (Rumor only)

10 in the fold, 1 strong rumor, 2 open.

First, we can play and play well with the 10 already in the fold, imo, with 3 caveats. A) Either Indrusaitis or Pierce must be our Freshman "ready to play" this year. B) Rock has to be able to provide 12-15 minutes a game in Big 12 play. C) Jackson has to be a solid, productive 20-25 minutes per game.

If Momcilovic and Watson can make the kind of growth Lipsey had this year, it could be improved.

It will be interesting to see how the roster fills out.

Just spoke with Salt Lake City (Utah) West HS OL Vaea Ikakoula to recap a one-day unofficial visit from earlier this week and he tells me that he and his CB teammate Lava Vailahi will be in Ames the weekend of June 14-16 for their officials.

Brandton Chatfield. Watch for it

Saw on the twitter machine that she is back in the portal and not surprising. Any chance Bill would give her a second chance, assuming she would even want it? We definitely have scholarships to give. I'm a little torn on this, while she turned her back on us, she was one of my favorites so really hope it works out well for her. Tough lessons to be learned.

Per free board somewhere else, we have in-homes/zooms with Wm Kyle from SDak, J'V Hadley (CuJos cousin from CO) and Nate Heise from UNI today or this week.

This type of stuff used to be a big deal as far as roster questions for the following season.

The Final Fours are set, and no Big 12 or PAC 12 schools to be found. In fact, the Clarkettes represent the only school west of the Mississippi.

Two schools, UConn and NC State are in both.

The PAC 12 sent 5 teams to the WBB Sweet Sixteen, none of them made it through the week,

The “best MBB conference in the country” fizzled out one by one. As feared, they wore each other down during conference played.

At least we can now get rid of OUT.
