Does anyone think that if we go 0-4 or even 1-3 in these last 4 games Pollard brings Campbell into his office and says something like "This trend cannot continue. It's obvious to everyone in the stands, donors, and every fan of Iowa State football that your offense (in particular your offensive line) is the problem. Either make some changes (coaches and or scheme) or convince me how it's going to get better by keeping certain coaches on this staff or keeping them and reassigning them. If you tell me you want to keep it status quo and very noticeable progress is not made next year, then you need to know your leash is getting extremely short." Let me end by saying I am in no way an advocate for replacing Matt Campbell. He's proven he can win on the football field. I just hope now he can prove he's not to stubborn to realize there are issues with his team that need to be addressed in order to show improvement.

FOOTBALL ***Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State game prediction thread***

It's Oklahoma State week, so let's get rolling with those predictions for the game against the Cowboys.

1) Winner & margin of victory. (ex: Iowa State by six)
2) Total points scored. (ex: 52 points)

The Cyclones are currently being favored by 1.5 points (the line opened at 1.5) and the over/under is 48.5 points.

Number one will be the first determiner and then I'll take whoever gets closest to the total points.

Contest winners will be rewarded as follows: first place (three free months added to your subscription); second place (two free months); third place (one free month).

Lawrence "Big Daddy" Hunt story

Great Cyclone and human being. 334 tackles for a Defensive lineman in 3 seasons. Was drafted by the Steelers but opted to help troubled youth. Almost forgot teammate George Amundson was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the year over Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Rodgers of NU. Man, Johnny Majors had something going.

Endowments

Anyone have any knowledge about IS U endowments? Do they have one and how much is in it? They continually cry about needing more money but seem to be pretty secretive about actual finances. Seem to have plenty to build beautiful new buildings. Most of my freshman classes were in the old WW11 quonsets behind Beardshear. Not too comfy but we learned calculus and English composition in them.
