From early in the season.

The ISU running game cannot just line up and pound the ball at anyone especially when Kansas knew what's coming.

Because even when getting 4 yards on a run....we can't run it for 2 downs and get a 1st. Kansas knew that.

The oline blocked well regardless. Many big holes on tape.....we needed a running back to hit the holes hard. They didn't have a good game.

Kansas is well coached. There were some plays they made because they are well coached.

Example.

1. Option fake to seal it. Terrible play by Freyler amd thompson again....easy read as Kansas lineman just stood up. Freyler just flying up has no clue like earlier this year.

Kansas receiver starts toward the middle of the field but bows back toward his sideline on the route to stay away from Verdon. Great route and gave him the extra space he needed


2. Pick play to seal the game. Great execution. Outside receiver pushes up the field into the inside ISU dback opens the easy out route for game sealing play. Official was never going to call it anyway because they were clueless but it was run well even though the receiver grabbed the isu dback a little as he ran by. Purchase begging for the call.

3. Blitzed at key times to put pressure on Becht. ISU offense helped them here by being predictable early but credit to them. They knew what was coming because it was obvious and made calls accordingly.

ISU gave this game away by playing down to their opponent again on offense. We thought stupidly we could just run for huge yards.

That's never been a winning game plan for ISU. It's beyond frustrating to watch this first half bs again. Players have no chance to succeed.

Iowa/Northwestern was the 7th highest scoring game at WrigleycField this year.

The first 6 were baseball games.

I haven’t bee able to go back and watch the replay. I’m assuming CMC was so mad after he called timeout because he felt the play clock didn’t get reset after Kansas illegal substitution. Was that the case?

Sat in section 8 last night, and I just have to say the crowd in JTS last night deserves a pat on the back for their noise and also for staying til dang near the end.
ISU fans have changed over the years, imo, and much, for the better.

Schedule in Rivals says ESPN+ but don’t see it in their upcoming events. Anyone know if it will be televised?

After yesterday’s starting lineup change, it’s interesting that Myles Purchase graded out the best on his side of the ball, while Jontez Williams was the lowest.

Thanks to Clonefan50310 for making his tickets and parking pass available. I had a great time with my sons and grandson (not in that order) and my grandson had a great time, in particular.

The first half officiating was horrible and impacted the game. The PI was not PI. Game changer. And the kick return changed the game. The fumble fiasco just showed their incompetence but did not impact the game.

Ultimately, their WRs were better than our DBs not named Tampa and their poor defensive line was way better than our offensive line. Game, set, match.

Sunny and no wind. Feels like 60. Watch says it’s 48. Got everything set up at RV Village. Bring on the J-Birds!

I will have two passes to Johnny’s available for most men’s and women’s bb games. I don‘twant to sell them for the whole season at once but allow more fans to go at times. I will also have C3 parking passes for men’s games. I’ll post the ones I want to sell on the ticket exchange board the week before the games and arrange for transfer.

Which is good for us because now if we can keep one game ahead of OU in conference, they don't have the tiebreaker on us, but we have the tiebreaker on OSU. I don't expect us to go undefeated the rest of the way, but one can always dream.

1) Winner & margin of victory. (ex: Iowa State by six)
2) Total points scored. (ex: 52 points)
3) TIEBREAKER: How many passing yards will Iowa State finish with?

Iowa State is currently a 2.5-point favorite and the over/under is 54.5 points.

Number one will be the first determiner and then I'll take whoever gets closest to the total points. If needed, I'll go to the passing yards prediction to break a tie.
