Recognizing four new teams next year will have an effect, here are the conference standings of the bowl-eligible teams excluding games vs OUT:

1. ISU 6-1
2. OSU 6-2
3. KSU 6-2
4. WVU 6-2
5. TTU 5-3
6. KU 4-3
7. UCF 3-5

Note only ISU and KU show 7 conference games, meaning they were the only teams to play both OUT.

I haven’t read the lawsuit in depth, but a federal judge did grant class action status to athletes suing the NCAA for antitrust violations with NIL money. Potential damages upward of $4 billion. If what we have now is a mess, just wait.

Jayden Higgins has 28 more receiving yards (769) than Noel (741) on 16 fewer receptions (44 receptions for Higgins to 60 for Noel). It's hard (for me) to believe because of the long TD passes Noel has had of late, Including a 66 yarder against BYU and two of 79 and 82 yards against KSU. Those three catches account for 30 percent of Noel's reception yardage for the season.

Does anyone else think that Kansas State thought that the snow would be to their advantage and so they didn't try very hard to clear the field or bring in equipment to do it. You won't convince me that that was the best they could come up with. Serves them right!

We had 488 total yards of offense last night with only 10 first downs. That has to be some kind of record. Huge win for the Cyclones!

Until proven otherwise, we can’t shoot. It’s a mess. It’s a serious problem. We also don’t run much of an offense and when we do get looks we miss, badly.

The high profile Cyclones in the NFL (Purdy, Breece, Montgomery) are going to help keep guys like Sama and Cooper in Ames for a couple more years, even if/when they get bigger NIL $$$ offers to transfer.

Campbell‘s message to Sama and Cooper is pretty simple: be the MAN at ISU for a couple more seasons, then follow Breece, Purdy, Montgomery, Lazard to the NFL, or risk NIL money temptation only to sit on the bench at schools like Auburn, Texas A and M, etc.

My daughter was watching the game with me and pointed that little tidbit out to me.
I knew Jace was a G.A. here at one time, but hadn't kept up on whether he's still here or not.
