I watched most of the Viking vs. Broncos game yesterday (since Fox decided not to carry the Packers ). Anyway, I had to do a double-take a few times to verify that the game was indeed in Denver. When the Vikings were making good plays, there was quite a noticeable cheer coming across TV--there must have been quite a Viking fan contingent in the stands.
That surprised me. Do Viking fans travel that well? Or are there more Viking fans out across the country than I realize? I often hear this happen at venues when the Packers play on the road, but never noticed it from Viking fans. I was impressed. I always thought Bronco fans were so gung-ho about their team, and figured they would snatch up almost every ticket available.
