Heard a stat on radio today that really blew me away: they could look up how many doubles a team had from the 7th inning on in any given year, how many were from l and r hitters and how many drove in runs and how many drove in winning runs.
My God, think of the hours it has taken to down load all of this info into computers. So and so at the plate, they can tell us how he has hit in every possible situation he.has faced this year and in his career.....how he does with runners on base, how he does with 2 strike counts and 2 outs. Simply mind boggling.
