Here's a true signing day surprise: Columbia (Mo.) Battle defensive end Jerrion Nelson has signed with Iowa State. He's really been under the radar in terms of coverage and info; I don't even know if/when he visited. Had a number of FBS offers including a couple from the Big 10. We'll work to learn more about him.
