Is the Uconn to Big 12 talk warming up again?

Several blogs are reporting that UConn to Big 12 is imminent, as in weeks. Got to say, this would make the Big 12 even more dominate in basketball. like more than half the top 10 teams. What would make it viable now, that it wasn't 6 months ago?
