watching Naz talk to the team and being at the game illustrates a culture similar to what you see at blue blood programs.
I remember watching NC/Duke and seeing all the former players in the stands and thinking how invested and proud those guys were to have played at the respective schools. We are getting there!
I don’t think we’ve ever had coaches in major sports so invested (and stressing that to the players as well). We really need to enjoy it and build on this.
Kudos to Jamie, Prohm, Fennelly and Campbell for a new era in Iowa state athletics.
