Well, should have expected it, ISU is getting hosed as normal. Overnight Lunardi moved ISU to the Kentucky region. From what I can tell ISU, would be the #1 or #2 3 seed. He has Maryland to the East, he has ISU to the MW, he has OU to the West, and he has ND to the south. OU and ND are being placed out of their regions, so that would means to me that ISU aand Maryland are the top two 3 seeds as they were placed in their natural regions. To avoid the MW, ISU either needs ND or OU to be higher on the 3 line, or ISU needs to fall to the 4 line, or better yet, move to the last position on the 2 line. If ISU could win the Big 12 tourney and somehow advance to the 2 line, but stay behind Wisconsin or KU, then ISU would be forced to another region.
So how to avoid the MW region:
1) wisky moves to the #1 line and KU is selected for the MW.
or
2) ISU moves to the last 2 slot, and since Wisky and Ku are awhead of ISU, now chance ISU could be selected for the MW.
or
3) ISU stays behind either OU or ND on the 3 line.
or
4) Drop to the 4 line and stay behind a team like UNI. If UNI and ISU are 4 seeds, and they are ahead of ISU, they get screwed with UK.
