I've been texting with Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson athlete Ahmarean Brown, who confirms that he is visiting next weekend. This former Maryland commit would be quite the late haul for the Cyclones. He's a borderline four-star prospect given his 5.7 Rivals rating. At different points in the recruiting process, the 5-foot-9, 160-pound senior has had P5 offers from the likes of Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. He'll take an official visit to Minnesota this weekend. He's considered the 34th-ranked athlete nationally and 74th overall prospect in the state of Florida for 2019. I'm still working on getting him lined up for an interview, so hopefully I'll have more on him in the next day or so.
