I plugged in Dec 26 to Dec 29 into Hotwire and there is a 4* for $181/night. If you haven't used Hotwire, you don't know the hotel until after you book and they are non-refundable. My best guess on this hotel is the Hyatt Regency. It shows 3,715 Tripadvisor reviews and there is a listing on the site by name for Hyatt Regency that also shows 3,715 reviews. Also distance from Alamo is .1 miles and to Alamodome is .9 miles. That's right in line with that hotel I would guess.
On hotels.com, the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown is $185 per night for those same dates. That is a refundable rate. I don't know much about this hotel, but reviews are okay and the location looks like its just a block or so off the Riverwalk.
