ISU has 8 games left and is favored in 7 games. Toughest games left are UC and UH.

Just looked at Iowa predictions, and they have 8 games left, and they are expected to lose 6 of them. Boy do they suck. Just saw that the gazette did some research and found out that they are getting only about 40% of the seats in CHA filled, based upon tickets scanned, not sold. They really can not afford to keep Fran after this year, they are destroying the fan base.

I personally don't know the young farmer, but he represented Iowa, Iowa State (with the logo-ed shirt he was wearing) and the pork industry well with the remote interview from his home on Fox and Friends this morning.

Unfortunately, he had to discuss the fact that pork consumption in this country is down 9% over the past 20 years.

I continue to eat plenty of pork and beef to help reverse that trend.

Like or not? I say not (no brainer).

I was skeptical that Trump could navigate his way to the nomination, but that seems all but assured, pending legal issues derailing him. Linked below is a Wall Street Journal video podcast that illustrates why it's going to be hard for Trump to win.

Personally I don't think the Republican party's problems are entirely linked to Trump. Some I believe are linked to the party moving further to the right, particularly on social issues.

The link is to a 5 minute video podcast. It goes through some of the graphs rather quickly, but highlights the problem for Trump and the Republican party. It's Biden's election to lose. And that is entirely possible that he could screw it up with a long campaign. He won't be able to hide in his basement this time. Did I mention I'm not happy with either of these guys? What's going on with politics in Congress is even worse.

Can you say over rated? Wow, the last place Michigan team, won their 3rd game in conference by beating Wisconsin. Wow. At least their net ranking took a hit of 2 places.

Looking at net ranking today, the new look Big 12 is dominating even more. Just looking at the top 15 here:

Just utter domination by the Big 12.

IF I owned a quality thoroughbred mare, I doubt I'd breed her here in Iowa.

What would have been the odds before the season started that Zeb Noland would be the QB on a team winning a bowl game and Brock Purdy wouldn't. Strange how things work out.

What do you think? Would a 49ers win by a Brock Purdy-led team rank as one of the top “Iowa State” wins of all time.

I know this is the NFL, but there’s such a huge connection with our favorite son that it would almost seem like a Cyclone victory to me.
