Bad few days for Biden

Let’s review the last few days:

- Biden admin guts Title 9 and now says it’s not based on sex but gender ideology. Men can now take women’s scholarships, live in their dorms and sororities, shower in their locker rooms. Even athletes like Angel Reese (don’t think she’s MAGA) are sounding of on Twitter.

- College campuses all over the country are holding pro Palestine/Hamas rallies and setting up tent cities, Columbia students even renamed the college the Peoples College of Palestine. They are blocking Jewish students from entering campus. A Yale Jewish student was stabbed in the eye by a Palestine flag and is in the hospital. Of course Ilhan Omar’s daughter was arrested as part of this. I’d guess 0% of these students are conservatives or wearing MAGA hats. Liberal Susan Sarandon was on campus supporting them of course. Jewish students have to take their classes remotely now and a Jewish professor said his key card to get on campus has been deactivated.

- Liberals like Bill Maher, actor Michael Rappaport (hates Trump), and many more have posted videos basically saying how crazy Dems/liberals a their policies have become.

As we’ve been saying for years, whatever libs accuse you of doing, they are typically doing it 100X worse. They call Trump Hitler, but under Biden Jews are under attack and not allowed on campus. They call him a mysoginist and then repeal Title 9. They say he doesn’t pay his fair share of taxes as Hunter got charged for not paying taxes. They tell you to stop buying gas cars and eating meat as they fly around in their jets and own multiple homes.

- Congress passes 90B of our money to protect three other countries borders, but not ours, and are waving Ukrainian flags in our Capitol. One Dem even sad he Ukraine border is the same as the US border.

In the last few days Biden has not made any statements, other than his uncle was eaten by cannibals, and has been on vacation..

What a complete disaster. Ok libs, let’s hear you defend any of the above.

Tickets to all 2024 away football games are available now to all Directors, Victory, and Captains Level Cyclone Club members, online at cyclones.com.

Please read the important information below regarding the purchase of away game football tickets.

Away Football Games - Ticket Information for 2024:
  • All tickets are based on availability and are first-come, first- served according to the date and time you are eligible to purchase. We strongly encourage you to purchase as soon as you are eligible to have your best chance at securing tickets.
  • Locations for the tickets will be determined at a later date and will be seated based on your Cyclone Club giving level and points within that level. You may enter a seating request during the purchasing process.
  • For the game at Iowa on Sept 7, Director’s Level members can request a limit of eight (8) tickets and all other levels can request a limit of four (4).
  • All tickets will be mobile. Printed tickets will not be an option. More detailed information regarding mobile delivery for each game will be sent at a later date.
  • Tickets will be available to purchase online until Thursday, May 30 or while supplies last.
All tickets are based on availability and are first-come, first-served according to the date and time you are eligible to purchase. Dates and times are as follows:
  • Directors, Victory & Captains Level Cyclone Club members may begin purchasing tickets on Wednesday, May 8 at 10:00am.
  • Gold & Cardinal Level Cyclone Club members may begin purchasing tickets on Thursday, May 9 at 10:00am.
  • States & Century Level Cyclone Club members and non-donor season ticket holders may begin purchasing tickets on Friday, May 10 at 10:00am.

To purchase tickets for games at Iowa ($157), Houston ($60), West Virginia ($80), Kansas (GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium- $100), and Utah ($100), during your specific time period, please login to your account and click on the “Away Game Tickets” link located at the top of the page.

Also, you will receive information later this summer on how to purchase home single game tickets, if available.

Homeowners insurance increase

Just wondering what everyone is seeing in regards to their homeowner insurance renewals and rate increases.
Just got my renewal, and it was up 51% over last year. Yikes. Now they did increase my valuation by 10%, which is fair and explains some of the increase. And I realize building products have increased. And I understand Iowa has had some weather related issues over the past year, but that is every year (though I realize derecho year was worse)

I've heard there have been increases, but that seems really high, considering I've lived in this house for 6 years with no claims. Though over the years, I have seen bumps in about year 3 or so, with my assumption that companies think they can slide that by, after you have been a renewal customer for a couple years.

The company I have is Auto Owners Insurance (they do homes too). Prior to 3 years ago, I had Selective for maybe 8 years or so and was generally happy but my agent recommended Auto Owners. Oh yeah, Auto Owners bumped by auto my 21%.

So anyway, what you seeing out there in the world?

PS, one friend said it was because I lived on the western shore of Little Wall Lake, it was due to increased chances of hurricanes. So that is a possibility.
