I'm usually optimistic toward each season, game, quarter, etc but our second half performance last Saturday has zapped all energy/enthusiasm I had. I'm at the point comparably to when Mac pissed division championships down his leg. Always been a Rhoads supporter but have my doubts now. I was at the Pacific game and I think I just witnessed worse. I'm all out of reasons, excuses and dreams. Even if we beat Toledo and KU, I'm not sure it means a helluva lot. Don't get me wrong, it would be nice but I just don't believe this staff can get us anywhere. I actually think we have some talent also. Bad luck and injuries have hit this staff unusually hard. Last year it was Brundage and Farniok in a key game. This year Tucker. It seems to never end. At this time I don't even know what channel the Toledo game is on or what time. I'm sure I'll snap out of it. Maybe the kicks to the nads have finally done it. It's our busy season at work and I'm using all my energy there. Hope that's it.
