I defended Fred saying he didn't make the lazy passes and throw up a million quick threes, but he didn't do anything to get us out of the funk either. The worse thing he did (and all coaches do it these days) is sit Georges for the rest of the half after he got 2 fouls. Combine that with the the extra long halftime and he never got back into the game. He tried to force his way in but it never came. Before his second foul he was playing well, 4 baskets including a three. They didn't take Georges out of the game Fred did. March Madness is when you better be ready to roll the dice and we didn't and are going home. Rhoads gets beat up enough I think it's fair to say it wasn't Fred's best effort yesterday. Wish the ball was in Monte's hands at the end. Georges got himself in an impossible position. Damn it. Sucks. Hurts.
