Just something to think about. Currently the internet consumes at least 84GW of power, and 1 GW of power is the equivalent of one nuclear power plant. So that is about 84 Nuclear Plants just to keep the internet running.
Now the scary part, AI searches are going to replace Google type searches, and on average an AI type search takes 20X the power of a google search. That means AI searches will require more power than probably all the nuclear power plants that currently exist can produce. We will need hundreds of new nuclear power plants to keep up with AI.
