Audi Crooks of Algona and Jalynn Bristow of Texas were both in attendance at the women's game today. They are both 6-3 post players in the 2023 class, although Bristow is more of a power/point forward type. Crooks has been to several Iowa State games and has visited probably at least half a dozen times spread out between basketball and football season. She averaged over 23 points and was in double digits rebounding per game as a freshman. Bristow averaged 21 points and almost 11 RBs per game as a sophomore. She looks like a combination between Bridget Carlton and Chelsea Poppens to me. She can handle the ball for a big girl, often leading the fast break, and also has a post game and can score through contact.
