Played golf Monday in WIU Alumni Event in Coal Valley, IL . We Started on #9, Beer Cart girl was already there sitting on the cart. I mentioned good summer job etc then asked her where she went to college? She said Iowa which I immediately said "Sorry to hear that" and pointed to my ISU bag. I asked her where she was from and her major? She said "Moline, Sr. Marketing" We moved on and I didn't tip her for obvious reasons.
As we went around the course we never saw her again. On the hole where they were taking foursome photos I mentioned we had not seen the beer cart since the first hole. We were told the second beer cart girl was a no-show. So the the TOE marketing major didn't move the entire day; almost five hours. Guys in my group, all WIU alums, were laughing as a Sr marketing major she hadn't figured out being the only beer cart on the course she could have made twice as much money if she would have driven around the course. I said
"Not surprised at all, remember where she told us she went to college!!!
