I believe it is likely that this game - 20 points - will be ISU’s lowest scoring game of the season. The main problem is this: Iowa wasn’t able to score more than 19 points at home against a depleted State defense.
- For those who know, that 75-yard TD pass reminded me of Rocky 4 when Rocky cut the Russian guy’s face. Up until then, most thought our D was invincible until ISU delivered a blow out of nowhere and we couldn’t recover.
