There has been some speculation among media folks covering the Squawks and their fans that Freerents could retire after this season. Some fans want him gone. As a Cyclone fan, would you prefer that he walks away after this season or hangs on for another 3-5 years? My opinion is that I would like him to stay (too long) so they continue on a downward descent. I think their recruiting will slide, as happened with Hayden Fry, and the team will be even weaker in 3-5 years than they are now. Freerents has proven he cannot recruit and develop QBs and they lose many of their top players going into next year. Next year could be a sub .500 year for the Squawks and maybe we are ready to start a winning streak against them. Go Cyclones!
