I've watched very little of the Olympics, but tuned in last night to see the women's 10 meter diving. The 14-year-old winner from China was incredible, blowing away the old Olympic record. Her 15-year-old teammate might have won any other year, but she had to settle for the silver.
I had to look up how high 10 meters was....33 feet...which would have been 3/4 of the way to the peak (nose) of our big red barn on the farm.
This little gal was doing handstands on the edge of the diving board 33 feet in the air, then doing her dive from that position.
