Prohm is definitely coaching this team. The defensive intensity tonight was the best it's been in a long time. It was why we got off to a quick start. I expect it improve gradually through the season, and take some Big 12 opponents by surprise.

That was a damn good Cincy team. We will lose a road game to a lesser opponent or two before the year is over. Great win!

We're 7 deep boys and girls, you might as well get over it.

McKay was neutralized by their physical bigs, but also drew a lot of their attention to the benefit of others. Nothing more. He'll be just fine most games.

Matt Thomas has turned into a freaking stud on both ends of the court.

Burton has the potential to be a major mismatch. If he can shoot the 3 at even 30-35%, the lane will be his bowling alley. And holy $h!t, what a pass he made to Monte on that break.

Not worried about Cooke at all. Tonight wasn't his night. He's a sharpshooter, and will win us some games.

Regardless of how this season turns out, I am going to cherish every minute that Georges Niang is on the floor. He is a special, special player.

8 days off for some rest and healing, and a glorified scrimmage against Coppin State, and it's off to Norman!

Hoo Wee Coach!
