1. Qb- Lanning is the best player there by a long shot. Couldn't run today but played decently all around. Backups. Freshman looked young and has a ways to go. Arm stenth is not aso good as I hado hoped. Kempt threw some nice balls and delira made a couple of decent plays. Need Park to be decent.
2. Rb- harger looked decent again. The walk on 27 had a couple of nice carries. Crony didn't do much but didn't have too many holes either. Need at least one of the freshmen to contribute. Warren didn't look happy he wasn't playing. Kind of brushed off Lazard when lazard tried to slap his hand.
3. Oline-I'm not an Oline guru but I know they need to snap the ball better. Screens still look terrible. There was some disagreement between scoggins and another lineman.
4. Receivers.- adjust to the ball please! Please! Thought at least two balls were catchable that the receiver made look impossible to catch. We need to play the 3 or 4 that can make plays on the ball and leave the rest sitting.
Defense. Going to be decent here as a group. We have a lot more depth on defense with the exception of linebacker.
Dline- we look fairly deep here. Big bodies. A couple have play making ability.
Linebackers. I don't know what seeley does in practice but it must be impressive. He has never impressed me in a game. Worried again about player selection here. Harris still biggest hitter. Knocked helmet off player today in legal hit. Mills made two or three very good plays. Harris, mills and Harvey have ability. It's after that that things get questionable.
Dback- we look to have several athletic players here. Mike Johnson made a couple of nice plays as did Thad daniels. The corners were in good position and attacked short routes well today.
Finding a number two quarterback that can be decent is crucial for this team. Improving the Oline and weeding out the receivers. We have potential.
