TCU and Houston to join their league. I guess it is tabled for now but you know how that goes.
That thinking does explain why the PAC 12 is and has been stuck in the mud. TCU and Houston are in the 4th and 5th biggest markets but are not very big draws.
I don’t know a ton about Houston but the folks I know who even went to school their care very little about their football team. I do know quite a bit about TCU and the Dallas Fort Worth Market. A&M & Texas are the top draws followed by Tech. Then I’d wager LSU , Oklahoma, and Baylor have more fan support in the metroplex.
I guess the PAC 12 didn’t learn anything from the Big 10 adding Rutgers. I do believe that Iowa State better hope that the BIG 12 sticks together. If TCU and Houston leave I don’t think it would be that much of a loss other than perception
