I know we spend a lot of time on here bashing liberals but I wanted to see how many Republicans will reflect on the Republican party and how their beliefs or ideals have changed.

I told a local guy who thinks he is moderate.... "really a Staunch Trump follower)and recently made a joke using the "n" word..... that the right has gone so far right that they can't even identify an independent as anything other than a liberal and socialist.

What I see in changes:

1. Russia is now not our enemy as many many Republicans not only visit there but take huge amounts of money from them through the NRA. A Russian spy literally was their best girl friend... or whatever it was.

2. Balancing a budget is not even a consideration. Last person to balance the federal budget...a democrat.

3. Personal wealth gained from using public office is perfectly fine or illegal finance contributions are to be ignored.

4. Flat out lying about obvious things is somehow Republican viewpoints and not lies. These people want these lies repeated and taught and literally make that argument.

5. A guy who said he sexually assaulted women is a "good guy."

The Republican party I grew up watching believed in many things I did.

Fiscal responsibility
Follow the laws of the country
Family values (not what Trump is)
Russia is our enemy

Where is that Republican party?

I would really like to hear people explain these changes that appear evident to even life long republicans.

I know many of you will see this as an attack but it really isn't. It comes from a person who has a carry permit and used to believe many (not all) of the things Republicans did.
