AMES, Iowa - Iowa State 133-pounder Evan Frost and heavyweight Daniel Herrera have received at-large bids to the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships March 20-22 in Philadelphia, Pa.

Iowa State now has eight NCAA Qualifiers with the addition of Frost and Herrera to the tournament field. It is the seventh-consecutive season under head coach Kevin Dresser that eight or more Cyclones have qualified for the national tournament.

Frost, ranked No. 6 nationally by InterMat, had a stellar regular season before dropping a pair of matches at the Big 12 Championship and finishing in seventh place, one spot shy of automatic qualification. The sophomore is 19-4 and had won 12-consecutive matches entering the conference tournament. He is 7-3 against ranked foes this season and owns 12 bonus-point victories.

Herrera, ranked No. 27 nationally by InterMat, placed fifth at the Big 12 Championship, one spot shy of automatic qualification. The freshman posted a 24-13 season record, including 16 bonus-point wins.

Official brackets and seeds for the 2025 NCAA Championships will be announced on NCAA.com at 7 p.m. (CT) on Wednesday, March 12.
