AMES, Iowa – Iowa State sophomore center Audi Crooks has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Late Midseason watch list as announced by Los Angeles Athletic Club Tuesday evening. Selected by a panel of national college basketball experts, the list comprises 20 student-athletes who are frontrunners for the Wooden Award All-American Team and the Wooden Award Most Outstanding Player.

Crooks is averaging 23.0 points and 7.5 rebounds to lead the Cyclones through 26 games this season. She is shooting nearly 60 percent from the floor and has set new ISU sophomore records for points (597) and made field goals (242). The Algona native became the fastest player in program history to score 1,000 points earlier this season, reaching the milestone in her 49th career game. Crooks was the third fastest Big 12 player to reach the mark and the third sophomore in NCAA Division I this season to score 1,000 points at the same institution.

Iowa State returns to action on Saturday, February 15 to take on Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse. Tip-off is set for 4:00 pm and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+
