You know, correct me anyone if I am misremembering, but it seems to me that this 7-5 Big 12 record could sooooo easily be 9-3 or better....
Loss 1: At OU, where we led probably 30 mins of the game and were inches from winning on MM's 3-ball
Loss 2: At home vs Baylor, where we blew a 12 point lead
Loss 3: At Texas, where we lost in OT
Loss 4: At home vs West Virginia, where we blew a 15 point lead
Loss 5: At Texas Tech, where we blew a 9 point lead (with about 8 minutes to go)
How easily could we be 9-3 (or better) and writing our ticket to the dance with a super seed ?? Our inability to close games will really cost us in seeding.
