We people in Western Iowa have been waiting a long time to complete U.S. 20 from Sioux Ctiy to Dubuque. Only 42 miles of 2-lane high remain. Those 42 miles from Early to just east of Moville are 45 minutes of white knuckle driving, with heavy truck traffic. But, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The DOT has announced that the funding is allocated with completion of the highway expected by the end of 2018. Our trip to Ames will be much faster and safer than it's ever been.
