My plug in receptacle for my laptop broke where it plugs into the laptop. It was bent, for lack of a better term, for several months and the battery was useless making it in essence a desktop. Yesterday the receptacle broke when I put the power cord in and no longer works. Time for a new laptop.
My question is whether there is going to be a way to recover my files for the new computer?
