.............. I was at the Gateway Market in Des Moines yesterday picking up some comestibles for Mrs. Zoiker and I, and this place carries the premium 'Boar's Head' brand of cold cuts. I remember eating cold cuts from this brand when I was a boy growing up in New York. These premium brands are always a bit more expensive, but they are leaner (e.g. turkey) and better-seasoned (e.g. salami) than the run-of-the-mill brands. Do any of you have any experiences with premium cold meats, or any brand suggestions?
