OT: Is the uofi's new emphasis on recruiting Iowa HS students working?

Couldn't help but notice in the bio's of the graduating students in my tiny town's high school that 5 students were going to ISU, 0 to the uofi. And this area leans pretty heavy towards all things hoks. Maybe those Illinois HS grads will still have the uofi as their back up school.
