To say my cable bill was creeping up is an understatement. I finally canceled on Friday and I will save over $1200 a year. I will miss ESPN during college football and basketball seasons, but if I wasn't at the game, too often our game would be on a channel not part of my package. I find outside of college sports, I mostly watch the local sub-channels. I may add it back in the fall or winter, but in the meantime I can take comfort in knowing I'm not subsidizing the Big 10. And I won't have to put up with those garbage cable shows that seem to takeover my TV and drive me crazy.
