Mizzou grad, Cyclone - To- Her- Core daughter lives in Des Moines. We always stay with her on game weekends. Friday night, said daughter and I had Cyclone gear on and went to a nearby Quik Trip to get some ice for the coolers.
We walk in and the clerk behind the counter gives us a goofy look and says loudly “ Hey !!! Your team ain’t no good.”
Daughter looks at him and says. “ Really? Hey!!! You ain’t got no sale.”
She then said “ Let’s go Dad. We are out of here.”
Man, I love that kid!
