My thoughts on the NFL's decline in ratings? There's finally too much on TV.

When they first started doing Thursday night games a few years ago, they began plugging them in starting about next week. It was perfect and I really looked forward to watching. The nights were getting longer, the World Series and baseball was done for the year and positioning for the NFL playoffs was starting to take shape. It was something to look forward to during the week.

Now, there's Thursday night football beginning in early September. It's just not that special anymore, and some of the matchups are absolutely awful. Keep my appetite whetted and I would likely watch. Give me more NFL football than I care to watch and I get bored with it, especially a mediocre game.

I also don't like them goofing around playing regular season games in England. To me, it really puts those teams at a disadvantage and it's like it's not even a "real game" to me. And the thought of actually putting an NFL team in England really changes the league if you ask me.
