iowa is predicting $19.55 million in football ticket revenue vs $22.4 million last year. Last time they were under $20 million was 2007
Apathy setting in
These are big years for iSu!. A lot of fence riders are not too intrigued by iowa's schedule and results. They simply don't want to spend the time and money to go to see iowa play middle of the road teams and struggle to win. I have a daughter at U of I and she didn't get season tickets along ith many other students. She said she went to 2 games last year, and could only sell her other tickets for $10. Why pay $160 when she can tailgate and party at home and not "deal with the game."
If somehow, iSu could harness some success they could grab some band wagoners and change the tides.
