OT: Daily Chronicle of the Battle for Normandy

I found this website that lets you click on any day from June 6-Aug. 29, 1944, to see what happened in the Battle of Normandy (started June 6, 1944) in daily reports. Pretty cool. Then I got to thinking how much fun it might be to go to the towns listed in a progressive order, day by day, as it happened in Normandy. Has anyone here ever done that?
